Protection Development, Incorporated (PDI) is pleased to announce that Gilead R. Ziemba, EIT has joined the firm as an Associate Fire Protection Engineer.
Gilead comes to PDI from the City of San Antonio’s Development Services Department where he worked as the Fire Protection Review Team Leader. While with the City, his primary job responsibilities included reviewing commercial building permit plans, automatic fire sprinkler plans, gaseous suppression system plans, and smoke control system designs for conformance with the International Fire Code, International Building Code, and applicable NFPA standards.
Gilead graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2005 with a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering – Structural, and in 2006 with a M.S. Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. He is currently licensed as an Engineer-In-Training by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and is certified by the International Code Conference (ICC) as both a Fire Plans Examiner and a Building Plans Examiner.
His professional associates value Gilead’s ability to clearly communicate technical information and appreciate his analytical and organizational skills. Gilead has a strong record of building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients and government officials.
